All indicators say we won't be able to hold up against the run, which means cheating safety's and corners, which opens the medium to deep passing game.
A lot will depend on game plan... I think we're undermanned, so taking a lesson from Sun Tzu, I think our best chance would be to bring constant pressure. I would expect to get beat a few times playing this style, but the increased chance of producing positive defensive plays, and the likelihood that you'll force more stops on 3rd down outweighs the risk.
I almost feel sorry for Raji out there... man, he's been a horse; wonder if Capers has toyed with going to a 1-6 front as his base??? We're so undermanned up front - we're only to week 8... don't be surprised if our defense begins to wear down more and more as the season grinds on.wistComment
