Thank you 394 for a traffic jam so that I can hear more about the implosion at Winter Park on the way to work.
After lunch the players lounged about the hotel patio watching the surf fling white plumes high against the darkening sky. Clouds were piling up in the west… Vince Lombardi frowned.
"There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson
Thank you Martin Cooper for inventing the cell phone. Thank you Matti Makkonen for inventing text messaging. Thank you Philippe Kahn for inventing the camera phone. Thanks to all three of you for making it possible to send photos and messages from one phone to another.
And there is the winner.
I think someone needs to make a new emoticon of a text message or something.
"I would love to have a guy that always gets the key hit, a pitcher that always makes his best pitch and a manager that can always make the right decision. The problem is getting him to put down his beer and come out of the stands and do those things." - Danny Murraugh
I've got a pre-emptory thank you. Another thread here led me to Jeff George's Wikipedia page, and this quote:
Most recently, on August 4th, 2010 George announced on KFAN Sports radio in Minnesota that he would be willing to step in for veteran QB Brett Favre if Favre decides to retire from the Minnesota Vikings. [3]
Please, please, please, PLEASE!!!!!
(and if it happens, thank you thank you thank you!)

Imagine for a moment a world without hypothetical situations...
Thank you for putting together a defensive coaching staff of Dom Capers, Kevin Greene, Mike Trgovac, Darren Perry, and *gasp* Joe Whitt Jr.
"I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle - victorious." - Vince Lombardi
Thank you mid grade beef roasts, for providing a healthy portion of nutritious protein, and sticking a fork in the Viking season.
WOODBURY - Last Friday, Gus Tinucci woke up to do the same thing his family has done since 1958 - running his restaurant and catering business. That day, he was serving lunch to the Minnesota Vikings.
"We had barbecue pork ribs, chicken, some pasta alfredo, a round of beef and a dessert tray", Tinucci says.
This was his fifth time serving the weekly Friday meal to the Vikings, but the day turned out anything but ordinary once Randy Moss approached the buffet.
"He was waving his arms around and was very loud saying 'I wouldn't feed this *bleep* to my dogs," Tinucci said, "and who ordered this crap."
Tinucci said Moss' tirade continued as he walked back to his locker. He says Moss added, "I used to have to eat *bleep* like this but now I have money."
