Derek Anderson was the definition of deer in the headlights near the end of that game. He missed Fitz open a couple times late, and then was afraid to throw the ball (probably because he threw a game losing interception last week).

The Packers should petition to move to the NFC West for a few years.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Bart Scott said the Lions played dirty just like the Titans. No maybe I am forgetting something, but the Packers have played the Titans 200 times in preseason and reg season in the last 10 years.

Are the Packers simply used to it and don't respond, or is this being overstated? Scott isn't the first, and follows Orton this year in complaining about the Titans.

              Let's ask Andre Gurode.

My gosh...how bad did Matt Leinart have to be that the Cards cut him and kept Derek Anderson? Scary.
Teamwork is what the Green Bay Packers were all about. They didn't do it for individual glory. They did it because they loved one another.

...and how much did they pay him to be that bad.

Anderson is erratic even when not in the headlights. That's his MO. Cleveland just hated the fact that the guy could run so hot and cold - on consecutive plays no less.

BTW, why do so many teams start off their overtime offense as thought they are driving for a game tying TD, with under a minute left and no timeouts? Get a clue people!

Leinart is not good, but he is better than Derek Anderson. Cards made a dumb move cutting the guy. Just because he is upset that he isn't the starter is no reason to cut him.

So who the hell are we supposed to root for next week? Da Bears or the Vikes?

                            I hate them both.

A Bears win almost finishes off the Vikings, and takes the wind out of their sails right before they play the Packers. We can take care of the Bears later.

I'm rooting for the Vikes, but I hope both teams play like shit and maybe Minnesota gets dinged up in the win.

Then we beat Minnesota, then we have the unanimous lead for first place in the division and a commanding lead over the Vikings.
