Way to start the ball rolling, my Aussie friend!

Time to hoist a toast to the Pack. Here's to many happy returns (of Bert Favre passes to the end zone for TD's)

I think ole Bert pulls one out of his ass and kills the Packers. It seems so unlikely, which is why it will happen.

It is time to FINALLY put Screaming Lord Byron and the Minnesota Vikings down for the count - once and for all!

I am glad to see that Tar has done his duty. Now I hope Bretsky does his and predicts a Packer loss.

Me, I think it'll be close, this game. I think Minny has too many weapons for the Pack to be able to contain them all for too long.

While I do agree, they're also in desperation mode. It's sort of do or die for them here. And Favre's desperation can go either way. If the Pack starts strong, Favre could get desperate and stupid with the ball sealing the loss, or if Favre starts out strong he could have a field day. It's one or the other and nothing in between.

The Vikings are talking up their week of practice this week - the best of the year they're saying. The Packers are coming off their bye and have had their own great week of practice according to McCArthy.

I'm sensing an instant classic here!

A woman who gets football....Here is to the return of duck and chuck. 3 more picks and the nail in the coffin that sends minnesota to a 5 year rebuilding program.

From the category of Packer-Viking trivia having no bearing on today's game:

Today marks the 100th meeting of these two franchises. The Packers lead the series 50-48-1.

The pressure the Packers get on Brett Favre today may well determine the outcome of this game.

It is REALLY icy up here today. Impossible to even walk outside, much less drive safely. Could be a smaller crowd/quieter dome than normal.
After lunch the players lounged about the hotel patio watching the surf fling white plumes high against the darkening sky. Clouds were piling up in the west… Vince Lombardi frowned.

The Packers will FINALLY have a D-Line rotation to use in a game. This will keep additional help off of CMIII and the blitzers. I think Favre is going to get harrassed all day.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

When lead BSPN Favre ball-washer Ed Werder asked Brett about his shoulder this morning, Favre said, "If my arm falls off, it falls off."

                            What a warrior.
