To be honest I can think of 10 QBs I would pick in front of Eli to lead my team. Yet he wins the Superbowl and he is God's Gift to QBs.

He ran when no WR was open and the pocket was closing in. Good decision, he had a ton of room and made the first down easily. But after the first down he kept running and after two players converged, he dove forward and rolled to the ground. By rolling, he landed on the arm carrying the ball. By diving forward, he could not be down on his own contact with the ground.

Had he slid feet first, he is down immediately after hitting the ground and the ball is safely tucked away.
