Favre was 9 for 13 for 113 yards, TD, no picks. Rodgers was 11 for 23 for 92 yards, TD, pick. Yet bulldog thought Rodgers looked better.
From Christl:
"Aaron Rodgers was only 4 for 15 in the team period, but hit Ruvell Martin for 30 yards and tight end Donald Lee for 20 yards. Counting the two-minute drill, Rodgers was 11 for 23 for 92 yards."
Actually, I thought Rodgers looked good, but Brett looked good also. Encouraging play from Rodgers, and this should alleviate the hysteria regarding Favre's picks in 7 on 7 drills on Monday (e.g. overblown)."There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson

There were a number of drops on Rodger's incomplete passes. I'll see how many here in the next day or so - he played better than the completion % showed.Originally posted by HarveyWallbangersFavre was 9 for 13 for 113 yards, TD, no picks. He threw one ball into double coverage. It was to Donald Driver against turds like Fontenot and Bogar covering. I think it's smart to throw into double coverage when those turds are trying to cover Driver.

Rodgers seemed to throw into double coverage a couple of times, but he looked better, of course."There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson

True. I counted 5 drops. Maybe 1 would have been a tough catch. I counted 1 drop by Martin for Favre, and I'm not sure how close the ball on the sideline to Gardner was.Originally posted by Fosco33There were a number of drops on Rodger's incomplete passes. Who was the #3 WR tonight Harvey?Originally posted by HarveyWallbangersTrue. I counted 5 drops. Maybe 1 would have been a tough catch. Some observations I had:
Clifton needs to get better....fast. The back up LTs need more reps and lot of work. I know they just switched Coston, but we are thinner then thin at LT and the entire tackle position.
Fergie....Personal commitment? What? Whoa? Somethings smells fishy here.
I noticed Chris White was playing LG on 2nd team and Lucier playing center....first I heard of this. After all the hype last year about White...why isn't he playing center? Is Lucier better? Maybe they were just trying something.
Carroll...well, at least he's not holding.
Underwood.....DAM, I was impressed....he was always around the ball. Manuel better get on the field soon or he's gonna being playing behind him.
I really wanted to see Bubba... I don't know why, but I did.

Your right on the throw but when those passes are picked, you'll be the first one bitching because the WR didn't make a play on a dumbass pass.Pass Jessica's Law and keep the predators behind bars for 25 years minimum. Vote out liberal, SP judges. Enforce all immigrant laws!

Are you refering to the nice catch Driver made. I think it was against Carroll and Culver. Either way, Favre got lucky.Originally posted by HarveyWallbangersHe threw one ball into double coverage.
