Good for him. He'll probably have to bounce around from team to team to do it........but I think he can continue to carve out a nice NFL career for himself as a backup RB. I wish him well.

From the time Fisher first came to the rookie camps the coaches raved about how solid he was in fundamentals, and how assignment-sure he was. A willing special teamer, with good hands as a receiver and a decent blocker in the backfield, he will be able to find a job as a 2nd or 3rd back for quite some time, I would think, especially for a team with a strong passing game.

A good third-down back. Made some outstanding catches for the pack! Even if he doesn't catch on with another team, he still had a nice career for an undrafted free agent.

Yeah, he's a good 3rd down back, but not starting quality.

I don't think anyone is suggesting he can be a featured back. Teams need role-players too, and Fisher is the epitome of that.

I loved it when he scored his first TD with us.

I'm happy for TF; he exemplifies everything a role model athlete should be.

He hosted a very interesting weekly show last year about his life as a Packer. Discussed his concerns about putting enough money away for life after football...etc....and outlined how much he appreciated Green Bay for giving him a shot and how he hopes he's around the Pack and NFL for a long time.

I'm hoping to see him around the NFL for many years. He's a good receiving back, a better natural receiver and route runner than we have on our roster. Unfortunately his skills are too limited to ever be a reliable #2 and with all the injury questions we did him justice by letting him explore other pastures.
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

I second your thoughts, Bretsky! I have no problem rooting for ex-Packers like Fish. In fact, I'll do so whole-heartedly. If you are cool and you don't sign with the Bears or Vikings, then I'll root for 'em.
