I have no problem being up 17-14 at half. I do have a problem with how they got there.

this is how they lose games. they beat themselves every F'n time. I'd rather they got their brains beat in instead of beating themselves w/ dumb plays and/or penalties. I'm trying to think of one loss this yr that they got outplayed....

Well, anything can happen. The Pats could come out in the second half and torch the Packers.

But considering the doom and gloom of many posters before this game, you've got to be happy the Packers go into the half with a lead - despite the special teams. And drops by Woodson, Nelson, and Driver. And Quarless.

the short kick had to be mm's call. they would have given ne good field position had they tackled the dude. you don't give brady field position if you can help it.

Any way they kick it they are giving NE good field position. When the fat shit caught the ball I thought "At least he'll only return it 5-10 yards". There is no fixing the field postion problem until you get rid of the incompetent pupet master. His firing is long overdue. CAN WE PLEASE NOW GET HIM THE FUCK OUT OF HERE???

Two plays keep replaying in my head. Woodson's dropped INT and that STUPID return. Its only a matter of time before Flynn gets strip sacked or throws a pick. Not being negative, he's just a young kid who is taking a lot of hits right now. Wow, that return was just killer. Fucking horrible. How can McCarthy justify sticking with Slocum after this year. That special teams sucked before so what do you do? Hire the asshole assistant! HUH?

This game is pretty much meaningless in the grand scheme of things--which is good because my DirecTv has been out since our super storm dropped 20 inches on us. Thus, I'm watching half-heartedly via the Yahoo ticker.

You cannot continue to make boneheaded mistakes and expect to beat the Patriots on the road. I am thrilled to death that we are in this game and even have a lead, but....

Woodson drops the sure pick
Collins loses a TE for a 27 yard gain.
Shields gives up a 3 and 17.
Collins and Hawk get blown up on a long run for a TD.
The ST's need no explanation.

Flynn is holding up well but will not be perfect. We need the rest of this team to play flawlessly in the second half if we are to pull this one out.

Charlie Peprah probably wishes they'd never invented instant replay. He was the one who allowed the return to bounce outside, and then couldn't make the tackle along the sideline. Pathetic.
