Silver has always been a Rodgers pimp. Love the Jennings quip.

Yet Rodgers, who’ll guide the Packers into Saturday’s divisional-round road clash against the top-seeded Atlanta Falcons, understood that he was leaving Philly with one more stigma in shambles.

“It’s always something,” he said. “The first year, they said I was injury-prone. The second year, I held onto the ball too long. This year it was, ‘He can’t win a playoff game.’ I’m sure some people still have their checklists, but I’ve kind of put those three to bed.”

When Rodgers, now 1-1 in the postseason, reached his locker after showering, Jennings yelled sarcastically, “Heeeyyyyy, first playoff win! It’s about time! What’s it been, like, 10 years?”
"There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson

Silver is a good writer and usually a good read. But he is also the writer that Holmgren banned Favre from talking to and revealing too much in the first go around with SI. Peter King was his rebound.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Well, the checklist people are just itching to write never won a Divisional Game, the NFC CG, the big dance or SB MVP in that order. Here's hoping after the lights go out on this season all they'll have left on their shitty lists starting next season is hasn't won league MVP or secured HFA.....

Never knew about the Duritz connection. That explains the music and entertainment eligibles he has been escorting around. Its not all bad being Aaron Rodgers.

"I remember when I got drafted here," Jennings said. "I walked into the cafeteria -- and had never met the guy a day in my life -- and the first thing he said to me was, 'It's going to be you and me sometime in the future.'
I remember watching warmups at Ford field in 2007. Rodgers and Jennings came out together early and Rodgers threw all these perfect passes, deep outs, gos, slants, sluggos, etc. to a very smooth looking Jennings and I was thinking the same thing.
