  • Capers to Denver?

Schefter says he is a candidate, Casserly says no. I don't like the little rumors swirling around. I don't think it will happen, but no distractions, please.

Its interesting the Broncos would go defensive given the Elway hire.

Hey, I just logged on this morning. I looked for a thread on Dom and that thread was already off my screen. This thread is about the distraction part anyway. I saw that Shurmur interviewed in Cleveland. I think that might have been a distraction for the Rams. Now there are rumors swirling about Mike Mularky. I hope that is a distraction for Atlanta. Hope Dom is completely concentrating on the playoffs....

Elway's been verbal about all of the guys he wants to interview, which seems to be half of the coordinators in the NFL.

I can't see Capers going to Denver where he'll have to try to develop a young quarterback. I think he'd be looking for a situation like Tony Dungy had when he went to Indy. The offense was already in place and he just had to put together a defense. The Dallas job is the one that would have been perfect for him.
