Guys...I think we are screwed. I totally blew off a wedding and made the wife go w/ just her parents (tho i did tell her to just say she's sick). So I'm sure my punishment will be a loss. I mean hell, it was an old neighbor from like 20 yrs ago they don't even talk to anymore!!! I've been doing a bunch of crap around the house and even laid the tile I'd been putting off to try and raise the karma.

I think you're ok. I left a (wife's-side) family Christmas party to watch the Pack/Giants game and felt the same way but that turned out great.
