    1/23 - A Great Day of Football

    Next Sunday should be a great day of football. A real treat for every football fan. The TV ratings will be through the roof.

    The Packers and the Bears meet for the 182nd time with a berth to the Super Bowl on the line while the brash Jets take on one of the most successful and storied franchises in the league.

    Good stuff. Can't wait for Sunday.

      Today's the day! Should be two great games.

      A-Rod's photo is everywhere. With only four teams left, he has become the iconic figure of professional football, like Dree Brees was for 2010. With the Packers becoming consensus Super Bowl favorites I hope Aaron can control his emotions. The pressure must be enormous.

      He's just one step away from the utimate personal statement - getting his team into the Super Bowl as an elite QB and demonstrating to all the other teams' owners and executives and coaches that passed him up in the draft how ultimately wrong they were to underestimate his abilities.
