So 150 rings breaks down among active members, IR players, practice squaders, coaches, GM and scouts, "owners", etc? That probably doesn't leave many left over for anyone else, but I could be using fuzzy math.No longer the member of any fan clubs. I'm tired of jinxing players out of the league and into obscurity.

The NFC is the home team this year. The home team selects which jersey they will wear. Thus.....the Packers get to choose which jerseys they will wear in the Super Bowl.Originally posted by Brando19 View PostCorrect me if I'm wrong...but isn't the home field advantage (what jersey you wear) decided by a coin toss? I think the Packers should choose to wear the away jerseys because we've been unstoppable on the road. I think the Giants in 07 chose the same thing.

Green is good.
Give Al a ring.
And really, had we not all done our parts over this Super Bowl run (I love typing that!) the Pack would never have gotten there. Bretsky's doomsday predictions. PB's "Read This and Learn More" threads. All of us. We should get rings."The Devine era is actually worse than you remember if you go back and look at it."

I'd pay money to see him in a Packer uni. I think it would be hysterical to make Pro football coaches wear unis like baseball managers. Imagine Rex Ryan and Bill Parcells - and Marty Mornihnweg suited up!Originally posted by Little Whiskey View PostMM said he always prefers to wear the green jerseys"Never, never ever support a punk like mraynrand. be careful when using the R word. the football gods may be lurking. all this talk, out in the open, about al getting a ring may get noticed. please use the white text when talking about rings that they may win. thanks for your consideration. carry on.

Good. I like our greens more, and the Steelers look more intimidating in their home blacks.Originally posted by Little Whiskey View PostMM said he always prefers to wear the green jerseys"There's a lot of interest in the draft. I read on ESPN that this year the Packers are considered the home team. That alternates every year between the NFC and the AFC. As the home team, the packers can choose between their home or away colors.

That's too bad because there are several thousand 'owners' like me who would love a ring too!Originally posted by Lurker64 View PostThe NFL pays for 150 rings for the winning team, and the winning team can choose to hand them out however they like. So if we win two weeks from now, Justin Harrell may finally get his superbowl ring!

I was wondering about this too, and I hope he does get one. My other questions is, do the players on IR attend the game on the sideline? From what I understand, they don't generally travel with the team: Tauscher was an exception.Originally posted by gbgary View Posti've got another question (don't mean to threadjack and i'll use white text as not to alert the football gods)...but if we win the SB...does al get a ring?

Don't they have a choice? I think the Packers encouraged Tauscher, but it was still up to him. I'd assume plenty of players would want to rehab on their own...Originally posted by MichiganPackerFan View PostI was wondering about this too, and I hope he does get one.
