That would be priceless.... not amusing...PRICELESS.....Originally posted by Lurker64 View PostThe amusing thing is, that if Rodgers were to win the MVP... you could already count him ahead of his predecessor who has only one ring and no superbowl MVPs.Football been very very good to me

I would like James Jones got sweet odds!Swede: My expertise in this area is extensive. The essential difference between a "battleship" and an "aircraft carrier" is that an aircraft carrier requires five direct hits to sink, but it takes only four direct hits to sink a battleship.

Just remember what they teach in Eastern Pennsylvanian schools. Each town has an H; Harrisburg has the h first because its first city of the state (the capital). Pittsburgh has an h at the end because its a hellhole.Originally posted by easy cheesy View PostJust used to seeing Shittsburgh.....
Which, while possibly true long ago, is no longer true. Pittsburgh is a beautiful city these days. But its going to be depressed in a week's time.Last edited by pbmax; 01-30-2011, 11:25 PM.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Which is good, because this will get Bretsky's hex apparatus in high dudgeon.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Whilst I am in full disagreement with your viewpoint of Pittsburgh as a "beautiful city", I will respectfully defer to your assessment.... my experience is the polar opposite of what one might consider a trip through a "beautiful city"... it was anything BUT for me...Originally posted by pbmax View PostJust remember what they teach in Eastern Pennsylvanian schools. Completely agree. Woodson and Driver and both class acts and I would love to see them get a ring.I would also say Clifton ,but I mean I don't think an offensive lineman could ever get MVP even if he played amazing.Originally posted by Joemailman View PostAs long as it's a Packer, I don't much care who it is. Actually, I think it would be pretty cool to see Driver or Woodson get it. Those guys will have few if any more chances in a Super Bowl. Arod will be around for a while.

A fair point, there are still portions of Pittsburgh that are not exactly spectacular vistas, much of the city has recovered nicely from its mid-70s funk. Much cleaner and more vibrant now than when I first visited. And I love the hills in the city. Great fun to drive around on.Originally posted by easy cheesy View PostWhilst I am in full disagreement with your viewpoint of Pittsburgh as a "beautiful city", I will respectfully defer to your assessment.... my experience is the polar opposite of what one might consider a trip through a "beautiful city"... it was anything BUT for me...Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Nicely done. It was a QB though, but still, nicely done.Originally posted by Scott Campbell View PostThis thread was the posting equivalent of trading back into the first round to get Mathews. IMO
