In the first half, I thought Collins was playing more like Polamalu than Polamalu was. Knifing open-field tackles, making his presence felt, interception returned for TD (which is also Collins-esque). In this game, I didn't think it quite as far fetched as when one of his teammates (I think it was Pickett) called him the best safety in the game today.

Collins was hitting hard last night. He got caught gambling once and got sucked in on one run but he had a very good game otherwise.

He played a pretty stellar game - while Troy just looked lost out there at time. Where was his impact play? Must of been confused iwht collins pick 6 and matthews FF.

Troy is great & gets all the hoopla versus Collins is great & gets no hoopla....well, no more, 'cos football world watched Nick Collins play lights out in the Super Bowl XLV. We knew; now they know!
