Here I thought somebody was going to give Favre kudos for calling up MM and congrating him for winning the big one
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

I wonder if MM has gotten that call yet?

OK....I can find no confirmation...but on Sirius they noted Favre called MM to congrat him and it was awkward at first

OH, you were serious! I had not heard that.
I wonder if he talked to TT as well.

I heard it was a text, and it was REALLY awkward!

This thread is a cheap shot I know. I too thought it was funny that he wore #4 at Butte. Rodgers was quite the lanky one as a lad.

While I think Favre behaved despicably in '08 by doing everything in his power to damage the Packers, I look forward to the day when Favre, Thompson, McCarthy and Rodgers can shake hands and at least put on a front of making up. It has to happen. They're intextricably connected forever. I hope it happens sooner than later.

I hadn't heard about the call to McCarthy either.

Was he still wearing the Crocs?

Aaron hasn't changed. Same personality, same approach to the game it sounds and even then he always talked up his line and teammates. I didn't know if that was something he manufactured. He seems so perfect with everything he says. Maybe he's just that grounded.

On to Favre, if I were the Packers, I'd want nothing to do with him until Rodgers is gone. He brings no good to us.

"Hey Mike, It's Brett. What are you wearing"?

                          Then downhill from there.

I heard he sent McCarthy a message as well. I thought it was McCarthy who said it, but give the lack of a hullabaloo, it must have been the nefarious and hard to pin down league source.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

                              ....and short
After lunch the players lounged about the hotel patio watching the surf fling white plumes high against the darkening sky. Clouds were piling up in the west… Vince Lombardi frowned.
