  • Collateral damage

After the Packers/Bills game, Buffalo released quarterback Trent Edwards.

During the Packers/Eagles game, the Packers injured Philadelphia quarterback Kevin Kolb and they had to play backup Michael Vick.

During playoff game, Packers injured Michael Vick and backup was needed.

After the Packers/Cowboys game, Dallas fired Wade Phillips

After the Packers/Vikings game, Minnesota fired Brad Childress.

Four weeks after losing to the Packers, the 49er's coach Mike Singletary was fired and replaced.

After the Bears Playoff game, Packers injured Cutler and backup Todd Collins forcing them to play 3rd string quarterback- Caleb Hanie.

Is it just me or did the Packers create more jobs than Obama in 2010?

Funny. But you can't lay the Singletary firing even remotely on the Packers because the firing was four weeks later. At least the Wade and Childress firings were within the next couple days.

And it was during the Bears' playoff game that Cutler and Collins got injured...
No longer the member of any fan clubs. I'm tired of jinxing players out of the league and into obscurity.

if they just replace people in the current position its really not creating jobs and not add additional staff. its net-neutral. just saying

Collins wasn't injured. He just sucked.

That was Lovie's justification for going with that middle school kid they put in there.

              Mr. Hanie?
But he was always so good on "Green Acres", Zig.

Last season was a nutso year for team swing. The Bears, Dallas, and Minny had wild performance swings over the course of the season. We caught some teams at absolutely the worst time, distorting our performance. The Dallas team we beat was about a semi-pro team. A few weeks later, they were competitive. It was a bizarre season, but man, it ended cool, eh?

I'll take that end result anytime.
