Ryan and Bourke are only maybe's. The other one is one of the longest tenured players on the team, (2nd I think?) and is the oldest!

    Rob Davis is Canadian

Guiness. I didn't doubt you and Thanks for the respnse so quickly. I'm a little surprised I didn't know Rob Davis was born in Canada but moreso that I have forgotten that. Shame on me.

Rob Davis is one of those unassuming, go about doing your job excellent, sort of guys. Now - I'm going to find time to research Rob Davis, as pennance.

GoPack06 - nice list, I would agree but I don't see Coston on your roster. I think he makes the team, hands down as a backup LT and/or RG. You have Peko listed twice.

I agree with every thing except Poppinga at Strong Side, Davis at starting tight end, and Martin at the second wide out spot. That spot is reserved for Jennings. Martins is good, but not that good.

Davis is the epitome of 'vetran role player'. A real pro who's taken care of himself, and lasted longer in this league than anyone would've imagined.

If you want to see some good stuff on him, go to http://www.longsnap.com/ There's an article on him there

DO NOT got to www.longsnapper.com -> it features Chicago LS P.Mannelly *ptui*

I think Cory Rodgers could be a practice squad guy and Boerigter could make the squad as a red-zone specialist...

                        Partial:

                        1. You've cut at TE - both David Martin and Donald Lee?

                        2. Who's backing up Center Scott Wells? You have Chris White backing up LG Daryn College and in the Official depth Chart he is #2 at Center.

                        Note:

Chris White played tackle and guard at S. Miss. in College garnering
All-Conference USA honors in 2003. He's a good athlete as well.

                        3. William Whitticker or Wayne Lucier (experience and versatility at Centerr and Guard). Whitticker may get cut.

                        4. Yes. I'm reading good things about Siitupe Peko. I'm thinking starting or back-up RG (Jason Spitz). Alot of people like him to be starting at guard before were too deep into the season. I don't expect both Colledge and Spitz to remain starters as Rookies.

                        5. DT Johnny Jolly hasn't looked good according to reports.I hoped that he might be a gem in the rough as he had good leadership in College. He may come around though.

As Wist43 says: we need a strong addition at DE between now and start of 2007 if we want to see OUR "D" really accelerate the QB's have to be pressured but maybe we get that from players like HAWK and Hodge and possibly a safety blitz now and then. We need a great DE.

                        6. I have concerns at CB. Some questions with Jason Horton and Michael Hawkins at CB backing up Al Harris (injuries/health and both seem injury prone). We lack overall depth at CB and Al Harris (endurance) and Charles Woodson (injuries) are aging.

That position must soon be address'd by Ted Thompson.
