I believe the very first slaves were Irish, but it was more of a bondship. after between 3-7 years of service, they were set free. Some were paid, others were peeniless. Yeah, I should have specified it. But just as Hitler and the SS perfected genocide, the Americans perfected slave trading. The irony, I find, is that neither would have been as "successful" without the help of active support by the respective traitors to their people. Owners proposal:
2011 - $141 million
2012 & 2013 progressive increases but amounts unclear.
2014 - $161 million.

More than a 25% increase from 2009 to 2014.
A 100% increase from 2004 when the salary cap was $80.5 million.

If you were a black man who actually lived through segregation (don't think any former slaves are alive anymore) you might be righteously offended by some rich punk like AP trying to compare his 5+ million a year to your plights.
