  • NFLN Top 100 Active Players Show (*)

Chad Clifton was voted #99 (ahead of Donovan McNabb). That was nice to see, if a little surprising. I don't know how many offensive linemen are going to make.

(*) This show is actually interesting since the people who decided the top 100 were active NFL players. Were it the media deciding, it would just be something to bitch about.

Nick Collins is #96. When they started the segment, they showed Aaron Rodgers getting drafted... and I was about to freak out if Aaron Rodgers was somehow worse than 95 other players.

      Dom Capers is the presenter.

Rodgers, Jennings, Matthews, Woodson are shoe-ins. Driver probably makes it too. Wouldn't be too surprised to see Josh Sitton or Raji. Finley would be a mild upset.

Tramon should be, but I don't know how many NFL players have noticed him yet. He really only came to the attention of the national media in the last couple years, and guys other than QBs and WRs don't have much cause to pay attention to him.

If by "T.J Lang" you really meant "Josh Sitton", then I agree.

                  Doh.

In my defense, I've had about 9 hours of sleep since Thursday.

I was interested in watching this. One major question is whether Rodgers gets#1 - for 2011 he should, given how hot he was down the stretch in 2010, but I bet they give it to Manning...

Who should consideration? Rodgers, Jennings, Finley, Sitton, Raji, Matthews, Woodson, Williams, and Collins. I'm not sure Clifton deserves. Top 100 would be, on average, the top 3 players on an average team. I don't know how many will make it, but those guys should get consideration. I think 7 made it. Clifton + Collins + 5 more. I'm guessing they are Rodgers, Jennings, Matthews, Woodson, and Williams. Sitton and Raji are great, but a bit unsung yet. Finley is great, but coming off an injury.
