McNabb had one bad season last year with the Skins in which he had no receivers, no running game, horrible O-line, and a offensive coordinator who happened to be the coaches son. You put a motivated McNabb in Minny around that talent and playing in a offensive scheme that's similar to the one he ran in Philly in 10+ years.... not liking that at all. Not saying they are going to beat us but it would make the Vikings a playoff contender.

I was surprised there wasn't the flurry of FA activity yesterday I thought there would be. Maybe everyone needs to wait until Thursday?

They can make agreement with FA's, just can't officially sign until Friday at 5pm. I think a lot of teams are trying to figure out where they are financially, and feeling out the market.

I felt like he's lost a little bit of explosiveness since he came into the league. I respect the way he runs, but it's not conducive to a long career. Toby Gerhart is a JAG. Hell, John Kuhn looked better last year.
The Vikings need to follow suit of other teams and go with a 2-3 headed attack at RB. That keeps your star RB fresh for the 4th quarter when you need him most. The days of the 30+ carries are slowing disappearing.

No they don't. At least not from my perspective.

I see it a little differently. At the very best McNabb is the difference between the Vikings going 5-11 and 8-8. In other words, if he plays better than last year they won't be drafting in the top 10 next spring.

What talent in Minny? They don't have a WR corps as Rice is rumored to be going to Seattle as they can offer him a ton of cash so that leaves Harvin who's not a #1 by any stretch and could miss games at any time with migraines. The Vikes OL is below average. Musgrave has been a failure as an OC everywhere he's been. The Vikes are NOT playoff contenders.

I don't even know if they are an 8-8 team honestly. I see them with a losing record by end of season.

Honestly who knows, no one saw the Bears winning the division and making the NFC title game last season. BTW who did they lose to again?

You just never know, that's so. And so when the Jets sign Ashamouga (sp?) and are instantly crowned Super Bowl Champs for the upcoming year, we can all smile.
