How many pixels were spent on here slamming TT for not signing that guy back in the day? Ahhh the memories.Originally posted by MJZiggy View PostThey were willing to pick up THAT contract? Pats are desperate for a guy like Haynesworth and if anybody can get him to work hard it's Hoody GeniusTERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

Most definately. But look at this:Originally posted by Bretsky View PostPats are desperate for a guy like Haynesworth and if anybody can get him to work hard it's Hoody Genius

The guy clearly doesn't play "for the love of the game". His grand-grand-grand-grand children are set up for life financially. BB will need to pull out all stops on this one, but if there's one guy who can do it, it's him.

The fifth round pick isn't until 2013. If he doesn't work out, they can always cut him before the regular season starts and not pay him a dime. The way the Pats stock draft picks, giving up the pick two years from now probably has minimal impactOriginally posted by Bretsky View PostPats are desperate for a guy like Haynesworth and if anybody can get him to work hard it's Hoody Genius

Yep, and they're only on the hook for 5M if they don't keep him..The contract was front loaded, so the Skins already absorbed most of the cost.Originally posted by Teamcheez1 View PostThe fifth round pick isn't until 2013. Yes, yes. Wednesday was much more fun. And if the Eagles fleece the Cards with Kolb, then we can break out the popcorn.Originally posted by Fritz View PostI think it was PB who was lamenting the lack of stupid and thus entertaining moves by teams. Well, it's coming in spades now.
Though uniting Sagevarious Jacksonfels with Rice and Bevell is close.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

The best part is that Shanahan and Allen were supposed to bring some order to Snyder's irrationality. But they paid a princely sum for both Haynesworth and McNabb and are now taking a bath.Originally posted by MJZiggy View PostThey were willing to pick up THAT contract? AND give up a pick? We'll see. They need a pass rush and Haynesworth is not getting younger. They also spend half their downs in a 3-4. So either the very expensive addition will be a part time player or he will need to be convinced to be a 3-4 end. The only advantage is that a Belicheck 3-4 end isn't quite as unglamorous as a Packer 3-4 end.Originally posted by Bretsky View PostPats are desperate for a guy like Haynesworth and if anybody can get him to work hard it's Hoody GeniusBud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Are compensatory picks in the new CBA? If so, Packers will get a few.I can't run no more
