You should have the option to skip a choice. Sometimes you just don't know, so skipping is better than randomly picking one.

After being disapointed with the NFL's top 100, a few of us at Packerrats thought we could do better.

Disappointed is spelled wrong in the first sentence.

Donald Penn's name is spelled wrong.

Can we fix the issue where all players with hyphenated names have lower case to start the second part of the name (e.g. Maurice Jones-Drew rather than Maurice Jones-drew)?

I'll continue to put typos on here. We want this to look professional, right?

How is this going to work? How come guys like Darrell Revis are mixed in with Brett Favre and Manny Lawson? Should we start by ranking 1-100, 101-200, etc. based on Scouts, Inc. Finding out who we think is the best in each group. Then, doing another ranking of maybe the bottom 50 from 1-100 and the top 50 from 101-200. I'm confused. I got tired of seeing Brett Favre and quit ranking them.

Thank you Harvey for catching the typos. I'll either fix the hyphenated names or move everything to all caps. I'm going to be all self-conscious now that I know you're spelling bee champion of the world.

What I'll do to discourage against the brett favre situation is that once the rankings are solidified a bit from people's choices, I'll switch it so that the first player is random and the 2nd player is within 25 spots or so of the first one. This will prevent Tom Brady ever being compared to Brett Favre which puts gives some tard the power to make the obvious wrong choice but also prevents boring nobrainer choices as well.

I'll have some free time this weekend to work on a project. (Wife and kids are out of town.) What exactly are we doing here?

Harv the main work to be done is rounding up some pictures. I've just been doing it with the advanced search on google.com/images. We need an aspect ratio of 3:2. The final images will be 300 x 200 jpegs but any mixture of gif, png, jpeg, etc is fine. A script will resize and convert them all. the files should be named like so:

aaron_rodgers.whatever

Sure, but won't get to them until Friday. I did notice a few guys had photos with their old team. If I notice them, I'll try to find photos with their new teams.

I found a photo of Manny Lawson with Cincinnati. Should we eliminate some obvious guys that have no right to be sniffing the top 100? Top 100 on average is one of three best players on a team? I can't see a guy like Lawson even being in consideration.

You can refresh the page to skip a choice. F5 or the like. But I agree that there should be a more obvious way to do that because your point is accurate.
