      Good for him.

Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

I don't think he wanted to come back. He could see the writing on the wall here.

Wow that is a really affordable contract. I really wish we could have brought him back at that price.

            So long!

He wanted a chance to be a featured back. I don't know why he thinks he is going to get that opportunity in Cleveland. The Madden Curse perhaps?

I'm hoping Green is an upgrade... his measurables are certainly an upgrade.

I remember Jackson blowing the screen play against the Giants in GB in the NFC Title Game in qtr 4 when he should have avoided a DL who blew up our OL. Jackson still found a way to run into him on what I felt should have been a TD

I loved to hate B-Jack. He showed some flash...but never amounted to anything. Hopefully he'll have a good career in Cleveland. I'm on the Starks train.

He really did make some plays, though, too - usually catching screens. He was a good third down guy to have around, but do you want to pay a third-down back two mill a year? Is that the going rate?

incredibly reliable as a 3rd round back picking up the blitz
overall he was decent, but IMO not something we miss that much

                            Colledge maybe
                            Jones perhaps
                            Jenkins we will miss

With the notable exception of Adrian Peterson, the 2007 NFL Draft was not a good group of running backs.

RBs drafted in 2007 in order: Adrian Peterson, Marshawn Lynch, Kenny Irons, Chris Henry, Brandon Jackson, Lorenzo Booker, Tony Hunt, Garrett Wolfe, Michael Bush, Antonio Pittman, Dwayne Wright, Kolby Smith, Thomas Clayton, Justise Hairston, DeShawn Wynn, Nate Ilaoa, Kenneth Darby, Ahmad Bradshaw.

Other than Peterson, only two guys to turn out well from that group was Michael Bush (who was coming off a really bad broken leg) and Ahmad Bradshaw (who was picked #250). Pierre Thomas was undrafted that year, and he's not bad though.
