I'll be darned. I wonder if he'll pan out down there.

Well, TJ Lang and Nick McDonald better get ready to play.

Seems to be a solid market for da Super Bowl Champs playas
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

Nice for Spitz, he is from Jacksonville.
It will be interesting to see the details of his contract. I will be surprised if there is much that is guaranteed.

In related news, Spitz leaving allows the Packers to issue Caleb Schlauderaff #72, the number he wore in college.

Schlauderaff will not only take over his number, but probably also the back-up center/guard & crazy-picture-guy role Spitz had before. But Spitz was in all aspects rated higher coming out of college as can be seen in the evidence below:

                I did like that picture...

I'd bet that those two are more NFL ready than Sherrod is right now, and I don't think one training camp will change that. Missing the offseason stuff is going to make it harder for rookies to get on the field.
