Of the cuts they've made, it was actually about the most obvious. He would be the #4 OT, and he was getting paid $5.6m this year and he's struggled mightily with injuries in recent years (and he's getting up there in age.) I don't know if Tausch is a good guy or not, but he's been a heck of a player. Went to Wisconsin as a walk-on and became a starter on the OL that got Ron Dayne a Heisman and won a Rose Bowl. Then got picked in the 7th round and ended up a starter his rookie year in 2000. Amazing career.
