    I think it probably will. There's much less money at stake now.

    Well, if this year is any indication... absolutely.

    The only problem I can see arising is if agents are pressing for teams to take money away from the later round picks to pay the first round guys more. Really, after the first round rookies really were never overpaid to begin with.

      That'll be hard to do with base salaries going up as much as they did.

        The areas for debate will be guaranteed money and the fifth year option.
        Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.
