They've signed the Giant's WR Steve Smith.
He was hurt last year, but had a pro-bowl season the year before. He's not expected to be ready for week 1, but will be a good addition to that squad if he can play.
Wow, they must have had some kind of cap room. It's certainly not the way the Pack is built, and Philly is usually quite careful with their money. I can't help but feel that a lot of these signing are not 'boom or bust' but that they're getting some quality players with thread left on the tires (Jenkins excepted?). Smith is only 4 years in the league.
