  • Winning in week two of the preseason

I just read this at Football Nation and thought i would pass it along,

The basic premise is that success in week two of the pre-season has show correlation to making the post season.

Over the past three years post season teams are 21-15 in week two of the preseason. Of the 15 losses, 10 were to other post season teams. Correlation is not causation however,

Go Pack Go, lets win in week two!

I would think week 3 would be a better indicator--since most teams play their starters the longest in that game.

You would think, but they break that down as well. Maybe it has something to do with back up depth, since everybody gets some injuries.

Possible due to small sample size, if we loose then definate coincidence, if we win then definate correlation.

As you can tell i am not an unbiased observer!
