  • The starting LG the Packers let get away

No, I'm not referring to Colledge.
Jason Spitz is listed as the starter at LG for Jacksonville.
FWIW - Tony Moll is #2 at RT.

I like Spitz but after his stinger he never had the same mentality again. He went from an argessive interior blocker to hesitant and that doesn't work inside in the trenches. Best of luck to Jason!
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

They need to sign Juice Coston and Allen Barbre, they'd have the whole tribe.

Jhhhheeeezz. Alot of the old Packers are hangin' around the NFL but Brett Favre. He's cutting grass.

Jason Spitz never really panned out in GB. A lot of this probably has to do with injuries, maybe he has it tgether this year.

The packers really need a RG/RT with a big butt. Where have you gone, Tootie Robbins?, a nation turns its lonley eyes to you.

Hey, Spitz had one good season for us at guard. That's better than all the other dudes listed. At their best, Spitz was better than Colledge, even though he fell to pieces after one season.

Hope Spitz does better with a different scheme. It always surprises me how many Packer cast-offs are other team's starters.

It helps when the team taking your castoffs is terrible and a poorly run franchise.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

I honestly thought Splitz was going to be re-signed. A thread was started earlier to state who was going to be re-signed from our free agents and I had Splitz as one of them. I thought it would have been a good idea to bring him back. He's a good back-up center and guard and knows the system. The question was is he heathly and able to perform pre-09? If he can, I agree we let him get away.

Breno signed with Seattle last year and is still with them.
