  • Official Packers Vs. Cardinals Game Day Thread

Looks like the NFL's best secondary will be in action tonight, at least for a while.
Wondering who will line up at LOLB since I doubt we'll see Matthews.
Hope T.J. Lang removes all doubt tonight.
Hope they give Harrell some time with the 2's.
Hoping to see a lot of Alex Green.
Looking forward to seeing Finley play. It's been a long time.

I think the Packers have to figure out their depth situation at defensive back. I don't expect to see a lot of Charles Woodson with roster spots up for grabs in the secondary. Charles is such a unique player, that you are not looking for some one to replicate what he does, but someone that demonstrate skills required to make this roster. Pat Lee's job is one the line in Green Bay. He won't lose his spot on the team because of last week's performance but he will lose it if he has another poor outing.

TJ Lang all but has sealed up his starting spot at LG, as long as he doesn't shit himself. It is understood that Sherrod is a tackle, most likely a left tackle but I was impressed with him last week at left guard. He wasn't great but he didn't kill the Packers either. Sherrod is going to be a very good player down the road.

I am also excited to Alex Green play football for the Packers. He has a very flexible skill set and hopefully for the Packers it translates to the NFL.

Spots on this roster are won and lost on special teams. It is important to recognize names of players that are making block and tackles on special teams.

Didn't we decide Bretsky was going to start all these....or was that just for the playoffs?

The way I figure it is.... putting in the OGDP (Obligatory Game Day Post) got us another title last season. No way I'm gonna stop.

No injuries--first and foremost. Then, I'd like to see the D put on a better peformance--especially from the secondary guys like Lee who are probably on the bubble and likely to be cut.

                  A progression in Harrell's play.

And did I say no injuries?

This. Also want to see Grant re-establish himself. I thought he was tentative last week.

I'm with you guys. Really looking forward to seeing if Alex Green shows any spark.

Maybe it's the dreads but part of me is worried he's another Nance... I shouldn't listen to that sliver of me, should I?
