M3 has already said flat out that Flynn's not going anywhere. No qualifications, just flat out he's not going anywhere. M3 is pretty straightforward. Therefore, I don't expect Flynn to go anywhere until he hits free agency next year.

So they wouldn't trade him for Suh?

      Everyone has a price.

I don't want Suh anywhere near this team until he learns to play by the NFL rules. If he keeps it up, he'll be suspended before the end of the season.

Get real. Suh is the shit. We'd take him over any player on our D line, excepting Raji

Trades rarely happen within the same division except for McNabb.

There are some guys with talent that are expendable IMO due to young talent, but it's hard for me to envision any of them getting traded at this point in the game. I think the thing to do would be to keep West and go with 8 o-linemen and Schlauderaff, Campbell and Dominguez on the PS. That or Crabtree could be gone. I haven't paid attention to West's special teams play and he'll have to show promise there to stick. He's been making plays all camp at receiver though - not just in the last game.

With no trades, here would be my 53.

              QB: Rodgers, Flynn, Harrell
              RB: Grant, Starks, Green, Kuhn
TE: Finley, Quarless, Williams, Taylor, Crabtree
WR: Jennings, Driver, Cobb, Nelson, West, Jones
OL: Clifton, Lang, Wells, Sitton, Bulaga, Sherrod, McDonald, Newhouse
DL: Raji, Pickett, Neal, Green, Wilson, Wynn
              OLB: Matthews, Zombo, Walden, Jones
              ILB: Hawk, Bishop, Smith, Francois
CB: Williams, Shields, Woodson, House, Gordy, Bush
              S: Collins, Burnett, Peprah, Levine
              ST: Crosby, Masthay, Goode

PS: Schlauderaff, Campbell, Dominguez, Borel, So'oto, Pnut Joseph, Guy, Hoeze

I think it's two of Crabtree, Dietrich-Smith, Johnson, West. My picks are Crabtree and West.
I wouldn't look forward to having Gordy on the field, but he is playing aggressive and looks like he wants it more than Lee.

What good is Suh after he gets himself suspended? Jolly's a great player too. A lot of good he's doing us.

Suh is great better than Jolly could ever be. Suh is actually a pretty decent person off the field. Not a drug addict. Get your facts straight. He has beat the crap out of some QBs in preseason games, fined, he won't play like that any more and if he gets a mark or two, it is all about reputation.

From what I was hearing on the Green Bay stations is that Lee is doing the coverage perfectly in practice, but not carrying it over into the game. So far his play (not counting his admirable fill-in performance in SB45) hasn't demonstrated being him kept for the finalroster. Crabtree somehow has to find his way on the roster because he is the best BLOCKING TE and semi-servicable receiver. Finley is a stud but can't block that well. I concur with Vince's final 53.

WR is going to be one helluva tough final cutdown. Cobb had an awesome chance at a punt runback last night but ran before he caught the ball. West hopefully will get some touches vs. Indy on ST.

I love Johnson at FB, but I can't see him making the squad especially if Green, Starks, Kuhn and Grant are all healthy.

He was quoted this week as saying that he has no intention of changing the way he plays. He blamed the refs for not being able to judge his never-before-seen strength. Get YOUR facts straight. And Jolly is just as good at sitting home as Suh will be if he doesn't get his act together. Just watch. And don't call me a troll, I'll take your left kneecap out!

Pretty much this. If you look at the dude objectively, you know that we would want/need/take him.

Incidently, while is Jolly is an idiot, he's hardly a fiend. He's going to win his case against the NFL, too, which will set him up for purple drank for lyfe.

So let me get this straight, Suh was the number one over all draft pick last year, rookie of the year in 2010. Pro Bowl, and All Pro, and you wouldn't trade him for a back up QB? If you don't know any more about footbll than this, then yes you are a troll. Sorry, even if he cracks a QB and gets suspended for a game, it is a wee bit different than the one season, going on two that Jolly is on.

So before we waste any more time and you demonstrate any more ignorance on the subject I will get back to the topic at hand. The roster, the Packers will keep more than 4 defensive linemen. Wynn had a pretty decent game last night, Wilson hasn't had the best camp but for the time he was in he looked like he can play as a reserve. They keep six regardless if they drop a couple of DLs on this current roster and pick up or trade for one or two more the bottom line is they keep 6.

I get that they have several extra tight ends, but keeping 5 tight ends makes no sense unless one of them can be a battering ram on short yardage plays. An area where the Packers struggled last year. Quinn Johnson isn't going to be counted on to catch balls out of the backfield he is going to be paid to destroy linebackers. His blocking has to be top notch to compete with the talent at other positions and he might not make this roster because of it. I like John Kuhn but he isn't short yardage fullback, running back yes, but he isn't going to be paving any roads.

Nice post and all that is really nice about the accolades and everything, but it's not my point. I am a student of human behavior and he does not exhibit the kind of human behavior that TT wants anywhere near his team. Suh is quickly becoming a me-first player who now thinks he is above the refs. His attitude would KILL the atmosphere in the locker room that the Packers have worked SO hard to achieve. That is more of an effect than one guy getting accolades in a season. At GB, your draft status means nothing and I don't think Mr. #1 pick could handle that. He said in a NATIONAL interview that he won't change. I hope he does, but for this year he has a huge bullseye on his ass after what he said about the refs. $20K is NOTHING that will make him want to play within the rules and when he did this to Delhomme was it preseason? I guess at this point we'll have to agree to disagree, but I say he's lost control so we'll have to watch and see how many yards his invincibility costs the Lions. Hope it comes at critical points in games, because the rest of the team is getting good, but how often can they give up 15 yards and an automatic first down? And how do you think the league is going to think about some second year DE injuring one of its star quarterbacks?
