    Packers announce Lambeau expansion

    its going to be complete for the 2013 season

    no tax payer dollars will be used, they're gonna fund it through bonds, and maybe another stock sale

    they decided on the plan i wanted the whole time. 6,600 new seats in the south endzone. steep seats, as the team says, it should make a wall of sound

    and it looks damn cool

                    My understanding is that most of those seats, except the standing room only section, are more expensive than the seats in the original bowl closer to the field, but they obviously come with more amenities too.

                      I bet drunk people will plummet from that upper deck real easy, but the fat folk in the lower seats should be able to cushion the fall.

                        I don't like the new addition. It doesn't fit in with the rest of the stadium. those should have been suites or club seats (even though sitting in the club seats suck, IMO). At least it wouldn't look out of place. its not as bad as the space ship that landed inside of solder field, but its along the same lines.
