Five year extension, so he's under contract for six more years.

Gave him a half a side of beef every year and a 30 pack of Pabts...done and done.

I always expected Sitton to stay. I did not want to go into next year with Sitton and Finley unsigned. Now we have an open tag for Finley if the negotiations get tough or if the decision to keep him long term is tough.

I guarantee TT resigns Finley without a problem. He needs to start working out a new deal for Rodgers though, he deserves a contract similar to Vick's.

i sure hope we resign finley without a problem. i gotta ask though. why, if we're gonna keep finley, do we have to keep 4 other young TE's?

one is best at blocking, one has the best hands, one runs the best routes and one is the best on special teams

just keep the 3 or 4 that are best overall and trade or release the rest imo

Well that answers the question of weather TT will spend good money on a guard.

Now if they can only get the left side straightened out for the long term.

Because Kuhn is the only FB we have on the roster and its not a lock that we keep 5.

Now that makes my day. Another absolute stud locked up long-term. Finley, Matthews, Rodgers next up, with Nelson, Wells and a few more guys sandwiched in there.

If Sherrod is the answer at LT, look out.

Nice work TT. Now we just need a couple more like him on the line....

Well, TT signs Finley without much trouble without a problem because the TE cap number is modest (it was just south of $6m in 2010), and Thompson can tag Finley for three straight years if he wants to. So TT pretty much has the leverage with Finley, so I imagine a deal can be worked out.

this is GREAT news and why you had to let Cullen Walk
I bet a chunk is worked into this years cap.

Finley is next but will be harder IMO
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER
