  • Kevin Williams Suspension Reduced To Two Games

Kind of a cop out by the NFL--especially since Williams is dealing with a foot injury that might have kept him out for the early part of the season anyways. He'll miss games against San Diego and Tampa Bay, but will be back for Detroit in week 3.

Kevin Williams of the Minnesota Vikings has been suspended without pay for the team’s first two games of the 2011 regular season and fined an additional two games checks for violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing substances, according to a statement released Friday by the NFL.

Williams’ suspension begins on Saturday, Sept. 3. He will be eligible to return to the Vikings’ active roster on Monday, Sept. 19 following the team’s Sept. 18 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the statement said.
"There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson

Whatever. He's regressed, now, to the point that it's not as big of a deal for the Vikings as it would have been 2 years ago.

he got busted fair and square, fought it for 4 years knowing he was just putting it off

and now we reward him for it? screw that, i say double the original for all the money he wasted and trouble he caused the nfl

        Only a few years late.

No matter, the Vikings choked in grand fashion in the year he should have been suspended.
