My guess. Quarless has looked better this preseason than at any point last year, pre, regular or post season. I can't see how he gets cut. ST, blocking improved and hands seem more sure. He's not Finley, but can do damage and fits roster well.

I definitely was not a fan of Quarless last season like most but its clear the guy really put in the work during the offseason.

You can probably draft literally any draftable QB prospect next April, put him through QB school, and he'll be better than Harrell. Draft Case Keenum in the sixth round, he's basically the same player as Harrell except he's got a better arm.

You could sign Colt Brennan away from the UFL too if you're enamored with players like Harrell.

I think we'll end up resigning Flynn, hes not starting QB material IMO. Great backup though.

That QB is unlikely to be as versed as Harrell in this offense next year. It's a risk, but we've seen that Thompson and McCarthy are not unwilling to take them.

Harrell dropped the ball way too much in the preseason. It seemed like he fumbled damn near every time he got hit, had some poor exchanges with running backs and had the time he just dropped the ball raising his arm to pass. You don't take care of the ball as a QB, you can't play. Maybe his hands are just too small.

I surely wouldn't mind, but I think those odds are slim; he (and Arod btw) have stated mulptiple times that he will start for a team somewhere down the line. I think he'll move to another team where he can compete to be the number one.
