How many of the guys we cut do we generally end up putting on our PS? It seems like every second guy feels like the Packers insinuated he'll be a PS player.

IMO the team has already had a long, hard look at the guys they cut, and decided they can't help the team. Bring in new guys for auditions. Keep one or two that you think just need time, but otherwise keep looking at other guys.

West, for instance, already spent a year on the PS. If he didn't make the team yet, he never will.

Not necessarily... there's potentially a WR roster spot or two available next year with the potential departures of Driver and/or Nelson.

Depends on who's picked up by other teams. If we cut 27, maybe 15 of them are guys we'd really like to keep around but 5 of them get scooped. Never know who's going to be there to put on the PS.

Even for the ones who don't end up getting cut, but they spend the day dreading the turk anyway. Especially for those bottom of the roster guys who make the final 53, but still can't be sure they won't be cut if the team claims a cut from another team on waivers.

I don't know. We're pretty deep. Gurley, West and QJohnson are gonna be in the NFL for more than a couple years. It's not like we have 53 legit NFLers though. Maybe we're spoiled. We want Randall Cobb's at the back end of every position.

Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.
