Irsay says on Tweeter that he's out for "awhile". At any rate, if I was Irsay/Polian/whomever, I would absolutely tank the season and tell the guys to lose as much as possible. You're not gonna get a shot at another Peyton Manning type prospect when Peyton is starting. Andrew Luck is being touted as the next great quarterback and the best prospect since #18 himself. That would be ridiculously *luck*y.

I like Peyton Manning. For a long time I hated him because he exudes arrogant dickheadedness. But when he goes on interviews or SNL, its pretty obvious that he has a good sense of humor about himself.

I think Favre deserves to hold the iron man record a bit me than Manning, glad Manning is missing a game. Favre got hit a lot more in his career, took a licking and kept on ticking.
