Rex called that coverage on Revis' pick a trap coverage (so did Revis). Would love to have a definition for that. I'm guessing its a look that shows no safety help and 1 on 1 CB coverage.
On the replay it showed the safety WAY inside and at the snap he bails very wide and deep. Revis covers under the route (trail coverage?).
That is all well and good, but that throw was right at Revis. If its a trap, you would expect the throw to be short after driving the CB of the shorter routes. But Bryant didn't run that route and Revis said he threw the fade.
Any ideas?Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Winners win.....losers lose....
Our softball team always use to say this after we had a tough loss and people started making excuses.
ROMO....My best example of a guy who made all the wrong calls against the Jets to lose.
Fumble at the goal line
followed
by a terrible INT
Along with the punt block he gave away the game. I've always felt the winners do all of the little things people don't notice to win....>Brady...winner...Rodgers....winner....
Romo...loser
and I'm not even bringing out his drop of a winning FG in the playoffsTERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

I thought it looked like a very lazy route by Dez. Not really a route at all. That said, Dez had nothing late in the game and wasn't going to beat Revis.I can't run no more
With that lawless crowd
While the killers in high places
Say their prayers out loud
But they've summoned, they've summoned up
A thundercloud
They're going to hear from me - Leonard Cohen

Hard to argue for Romo in this game, but what did Sanchez do to win the game? After the Revis INT, he drove the team backwards for the FG try. There is always more to the story than winners and losers. Otherwise, there would be no reason to watch, coach or play. We would all play checkers.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Romo just doesn't seem like a guy with a ton of desire to me. He likes playing football and probably doesn't even mind working at it a little, but I don't think he has the true devotion to do what it takes to be a winner. That is ultimately what separates the winners from the mediocre.
I think the jury is still out on Sanchez. He has gone to the AFCC twice, so he can't be doing everything wrong. He sort of reminds me of Romo, though. He might like doing a GQ photoshoot more than in-depth film study of opposing defenses. It's such a GOOD feeling...13 TIME WORLD CHAMPIONS!!

Sanchez isn't all that good and has limitied potential in my mind. Like Flacco early in his career, he's been saved by a great defense and running game. If the Jets had an elite QB, they'd be the favorite to win the Super Bowl."There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson
