Jennings made it look easy. Best route runner in the league, in my opinion.
I can't run no more
With that lawless crowd
While the killers in high places
Say their prayers out loud
But they've summoned, they've summoned up
A thundercloud
They're going to hear from me - Leonard Cohen
This play to me was set-up by the previous plays.....MM always talks about running the ball, but the way the game started yesterday it seemed that he felt like he needed to score, and fast. If my memory is correct, leading up to this play we ran the ball several times; this play was play-action pass and nobody was within 5 yards of Jennings.
Just to touch on it as well, I just see visable difference between Grant and Starks; Starks just seems quicker and gets up the field.
As another note, Clifton just cannot run block. Most every time we ran it to the left, it seemed it was stuffed....the end maybe nearer for Clifton than we think....he can still pass block.
If you don't like me....bite me...
....want some, come get some!
He's still a capable pass blocker, but that's about it. =S
Johnson walked him back a couple of times. Clifton needs to hit in padded practice to be effective weekly. But his knees don't agree with that schedule.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.
