  • WEEK 4 OFFICIAL GAMEDAY THREAD PACKERS VS. THE BRONCOS

    GAME DAY IS HERE.............

What a glorious weekend for Wisconsin sports it was and now round three is topped off with a Packer Game

The Brewers win playoff game #1
The Badgers leave many wondering if they can win the BCS after kicking the crap out of 8th ranked Nebraska

And now it's Packer Time !

    Let's not fool ourselves here.

Green Bay is a Good Team.
    Denver is not.
    Green Bay should win.

With that being said, that is why they play the game.

This is the classic Packer Trap Game. They just came off of a victory against their most firece divisional rival, and this is a game where they will come out comlacent. This is the game where the rats wonder how this team has went through the season undefeated.

I know everybody is feeling like we can't lose this game. A quick question. When was the last time you had that feeling against Denver ???

For me, that was 1997. We were 14 points favorites. On the morning of the Super Bowl when I fully expected Green Bay to win back to back titles, one of my better friends called me from New York early afternoon. Organizing a party and already in the midst of my pregame party....aka....booze......the classis quote/ words came out of my mouth

"I don't see any way we lose the game tonight"

He reminds me of that quote to this day.

Orton plays lights out today and this game is a shootout. Dumerville returns and applies a pass rush..........something Green Bay has been lacking. AROD should have his way with Denver's defense. A high scoring and fun game is ahead.

In the end, I'm not sure I see any way we lose................TRANSLATION

Denver shocks the world !................................................A GAIN

    Broncos 27
    Packers 24

    Whammy live on !
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

this is what gamblers call a classic letdown game. I expect a carolina type game where we are all frustrated early, but eventually talent shines through.

Orton found Lloyd one time last week. Lloyd expressed his frustration and this week...they'll connect for over 100 yards. The Broncos will put up some points, but the Packers will put up alot more. I don't trust the Packers defense at all, but there's no way the Broncos can stop our offense. Jordy Nelson will have a huge day with 2 TD's.

This Denver team that allowed Dalton and Hasselback to throw for over 300 yards against them, we aren't going to lose this game with #12 playing QB.

Gonna try to get things done even though it's rainy, cold and disgusting here, then going out for the game today!

Bringing up the Super Bowl is a low blow, but I would expect nothing else from the whammy. Don't forget the mounting injuries.

                  Packers by 17.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

The famed Packer bar in DC, the Hawk and Dove, is showing its last game broadcast today. It is changing owners and the fools who are taking over are shutting it down for renovations in the middle of football season. They should do the renovations in spring when there isn't as much going on. But it's been a long time since I could watch at a Packer bar so that's where I'll be.

Sounds fun! I love DC. Can't believe they're shutting it down in the middle of the season! Do they realize how much business they're losing?

That's what I'm thinking too. The place is packed every game day.

Should have no problem this week. I will disappointed but not shocked if Denver does make it a game though.
