So you are correct, but the timing wasn't a coincidence.
Yep. But Bob, as good as he was, was also around for some stunning D collapses in the playoffs as well. So I am sure he helped, but there had to be help elsewhere. And none of it looked likely before the end of the season.

I am not sure Neal or So'oto are the Packers answer to Bob Sanders, but I hope they can plug some holes in the dam.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

They are not. Current players need to play better.

The are not the only team that are struggling on defense right now, its happening all over the league. The lack of training camp and OTAs is the reason for the slow start. Our defense will be fine by seasons end and So'oto coming back will help our pass rush more than you think.

Packers are 28th in total defense if you just look at yards, but 18th in scoring defense. Not great, but not horrible either. I think there's a much better chance they'll get better than there is that they'll get worse. The pass rush should get better when they get Neal, Zombo and So'oto back. The secondary still seems a bit out of sync. Safeties not always in a position to give help that CB's seem to be expecting. The talent is there for this to get rectified as the season progresses.

We gave up a lot of points to NO and way too many to Car. Chi and Den are aren't good on o, so our d looked good.
Against bad to mid level offense, our d will prevail and make alot of picks. However against a high powered team like NO or NE, our d won't slow them This problem needs to be fixed.

Why are the offenses in sync?
