  • first quarter MVP?

    its gotta be a-rod right?

although stafford is a very close second at this point and of course there's always brady

    a-rod is on pace for 48 td's 8 int's and 8 rushing td's

and we haven't exactly played easy teams. the bears and saints both have good d's

I'd say Rodgers unanimously at this point. Jennings and friends are pretty damn good but Stafford has fucking Megatron to throw to....

Clearly, it's Scott Wells. Without him, the entire O-line would be decimated.

How about Peyton Manning. Without him the colts have been useless for 1/4 of a season. That hasn't happened in over a decade.

                  Brady?

You have to put Calvin Johnson is the discussion with the way he's playing right now.

If the season ended today, it would be Calvin Johnson. He's on pace for 32TD receptions. With him, Stafford is on pace for 44TDs. Without him, he is on pace for 12 TDs.

                      The answer is Calvin Johnson.

Brady is on a pace for 6000 passing yards and 52 touchdowns.

Still Johnson. His pacing beats the current record for TD receptions in a season by about 35%

Brady's pace puts him over the yardage record, but only by 15% and two more TDs, or 4% more than his old record. Plus, Rodgers and Stafford are on pace for 48 and 44 respectively and are not on pace for 20 INTs like Brady is.

If it wasn"t stafford throwing to him would he still have the the same sucsess? Who made who? Take away stafford and their o suffers more than losing megatron, so I say no way is megatron mvp. Still playing at an amazingly great level though.

Rodgers is on pace for record passing yards, completion pct, YPA, and rating leading the highest scoring offense in the NFL. Also 48 TDs (second only to Brady's 50) passing, 8 rushing.

Calvin Johnson is the best receiver and is a trendy contrarian pick but there's no way he'd get it if everyone stayed on course. Rodgers, *maybe* Brady, but no one else is really that close.
