Looks like Toronto has a team. Thought it would be neat to catch a game...but was surprised to see tickets going for $100 each! I can catch a Bills game for that price. Seemed pretty steep to me, a Marlies (junior hockey) game at the same venue is $40.

I read that they attracted 1800 fans for their opener, and were hoping for 2000. The venue they were at holds 8000, you have to think they'd be better served by charging half that, and hoping to draw double the crowd? I don't know what market saturation for this sort of an event would be, but you have to think it's more than 1800 (Toronto is over 5 million...)

had to laugh at the half time draw - winner gets to tackle one of the players! Maybe Upnorth should have entered the draw...

Send me the schedual, I am in waterloo (jsut west of toronto for everyone else) the first week of nov. If they have a home game i am going. I will do this strickly for reporting on the quality of the game.

And if you notice carefully, you can see that the GB player already has a several singles showing from her panties. Guess the fans throw money onto the field.
