  • Alex Green done for year

Per MM's presser. He's got to have knee surgery.

Greg Jennings has a bruised hand but it should be ok.

Does it ever end with this team?

Unfortunately we didn't get to see much of him - 3 attempts for 11 yards.

He didn't appear in the box score, and I don't remember seeing him on the screen. I assume he got hurt on an ST play?

So are they going to lose a player or have a sigficant injury in every game this year. Seems like a trend.

Yes, very early...might have been the opening kickoff.

jeez. the lions have lost 2 running backs. I imagine it is slim pickings out there. I guess it is time to bring Nance back.

OK. Time for everyone to repent for enjoying McCarthy's first couple of relatively injury free years too much.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Yep right in front of me. Then he was on the meat cart within minutes.

Too bad for him, but he really missed out due to the lockout because you almost couldn't play him because he didn't know the offense. Hopefully while he rehabs his knee, he can learn what he missed in the OTAs that never happened.

I wonder which back we bring back: Saine or Nance.

Is there an RB on the practice squad? I thought we had one, or did he get poached?
