No idea. This was from a series of photo slideshows that the GBPG is doing and was the third batch I looked at after the 1965 and 66 team photo shoots. I was amazed this was a home game at Lambeau, given how low the seating is in that endzone.Originally posted by red View Postcool pic pb
we're looking towards the north endzone right? is that where the old offices were?
Rams game slideshow is here: http://packersnews.greenbaypressgaze...0120806&Ref=PHBud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

OK, but where is that building looming through the goalposts then? Because in the B&W shot, its all parking lot.Originally posted by red View PostBud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

you first picture must have been taken in the late 60's or early 70's
heres the picture of the sneak during the icebowl. the sneak happened in the south endzone, so we are looking north.
notice the same center row and the telephone pole in behind the stands on the right, also the set of stands sticking out on the top right with the flagpole. but there's no office building. so the building must have been added sometime after 67

OK. Your first picture shows the building at the bottom of the picture. I then assume the Ice Bowl shot is either showing us the opposite end OR we are too close to field level to see the building behind the stands and through the crowds/clouds/static.
The Rams game is from 1966 according to GBPG.Last edited by pbmax; 10-28-2011, 05:18 PM.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Shadow of building looks like it might be a smidge taller, but hard to say. More troubling is the big scoreboard/aux press box between it and the seats. That could have come after the Rams game I suppose.Originally posted by red View Posti don't think that building in the first picture is the same as the building in the overhead picture
the building in the overhead pic looks to be the same height as the buses parked next to it. your picture clearly shows a taller buildingBud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

The problem you guys are running into is that most of the Ice Bowl photos have been doctored over the years. There were clouds of steam coming from every player's and fan's mouth and even rising off the players themselves. Most of the published photos available now have been enhanced to remove all of those lighter areas, which must have obscured the building in Red's photo. Here is another from the same play in the Ice Bowl, clearly showing the building in the background:

I'm wondering if that first photo supplied by Patler isn't old City Stadium near GB East High School?Originally posted by red View Posti don't think that building in the first picture is the same as the building in the overhead picture
