  • Cowboys cut Tashard Choice

Kinda suprising considering Felix Jones' injury. Murray had one great game....they'd best hope he's the real deal. Wonder how long it'll take before he's a Lion?

I know the Lion comment was tongue in cheek, but it probably makes sense for the Lions to have him in for a look.

Did Choice have a couple of pretty good seasons, or was it just a couple of games? He's a 'name' but it seems to me like he might not have done much to deserve it.

        Career rushing stats
        Code:
        Season Attempts Yards Avg. TD
        2011 28 75 2.7 0
        2010 66 243 3.7 3
        2009 64 349 5.5 3
        2008 92 472 5.1 2
He's dropped off the past two years but I would still think he's worth a look.

I think he ended up in the dog house in Dallas after his fumble basically cost them that week 1 game against the Redskins last year, and he never actually escaped it.

TT might want to take a look, but keep in mind that we're last on the waiver list, and at that point you may not bother to put in a claim on anybody, ever.

Yes, clearly it's his believe in separate but equal that's holding him back.

Yes, but also his numbers don't look that bad. Last year's 3.7yd avg isn't terrible, you don't cut a guy who's averaging just under 4. I wonder what's up with his sub 3yd average this year?

Woody, did you mean to put the two not's in there?

He's obviously not a feature back, was he a third down guy? Seems odd to turf a guy at this point in the season unless there's a hole on the team that needs to be filled, and he's the most expendable.

Running backs have a short shelf life.

Better to shed one year before than one year too late.

Then again he could not block a wedge of cheese or a plate of nachoes. So says ESPN 103.FM the Dallas blow torch

The Redskins claimed Choice on wavers. They're very thin at RB so we may see alot of him soon.
