  • Dec 4 game may become prime time

With the NFL opting out of the New England-Indianapolis game, I suspect that the Packers-Giants matchup will be the one they are most likely to move into the 8pm slot.

There are several intriguing matchups that week, including Detroit-New Orleans that the NFL can choose from. Still when you factor in the fan base of Green Bay and the TV market of New York, the Packer-Giant contest is likely to draw the largest TV rating.

Fox has protected this game, it can't be moved.

Fox protected that game against the flex.

      "You're exactly right, Joe ..."

For several years, NFL fans have been able to count on the Colts and the Patriots to deliver one of the marquee games of the regular season -- and often to meet again in a playoff rematch.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

I guess Fox does get something for the multiple billions they shell out then. Guess we'll be watching Lions-Saints then...could be a wildcard spot on the line in that one.

This is great news; the Colts are hazardous to my viewing health and should only be watched by die hard fans who love pain.

I was thinking if Tampa had kept winning they would flex the GB vs TB game on the 20th. 10-0 Pack verses the 7-3 Bucs.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

How many prime time games does the Pack have? Isn't there a limit to that?
No longer the member of any fan clubs. I'm tired of jinxing players out of the league and into obscurity.

Not as many as they're gonna have next year if they don't lose a game or two.
