Ugh he dropped that sure pick-6.

When T-Will and Peprah took those picks to the house in San Diego it actually cost the team 7 in point differential. The defense gave up 7 more points than it had to and it was all Williams' and Peprah's fault.

Woodson is smarter than that. He recognizes that it's about the team, not his ego. Sure, one more pick six for Woodson ties an NFL record for defensive TD's, but it isn't about records or personal accolades. It's about making sure the Vikings only score 7 points rather than 10 or 14. He did it right.

Williams and Peprah can rot in hell for their selfish arrogance.

2 years from now, who can replace him? They seemed to be grooming Collins for that role, with Burnett to replace Collins in his role. I dont see anyone on this team right now who can step into Woodsons shoes. Will it call for a change of scheme?

Someone previously mentioned on here that they think Morgan Burnett is the next best option.

LOL-you can't really replace a guy like CW, and I actually expect he'll still be here in 2 years, playing with a similar type of latitude but in more of a hybrid safety kind of role with less cover duties.

However, were he for some reason not here in 2 years, and were Capers to try and find a single player to play the same kind of role, it could be any number of people. I wouldn't rule out Tramon if Shields keeps improving and if House is on year 2 as nickel by then. TW did have his first blitz in over month this week, and got home.

Most likely though Capers would use everybody's strengths and you'd see a combination of all the DBs filling in for various things that CW does now.
