    Packers defense is 31st in passing yards allowed (283.4 YPG), but 7th (77.6) in Passer Rating allowed.

        This is the real story of a D. Yards don't mean shit when your playing with such big leads. Why would you dial up risky D when you have a huge lead?

          So just stumbled across another wow stat, the pack has not lost by more than 4 (excluding OT TD's) since week 9 of 2009, and that was to TB in Freeman's first start.

                    And the Packers really haven't been blown out of a game since Nov 08 against the Saints.

                      Here's an interesting little nugget from the Football Outsiders DVOA writeup this week:

                      Green Bay is number one in the league in DVOA on both offense and defense in the second half of close games (score within a touchdown).
                      Packer Zen. It seems they are the best (according to this metric) in close games.

                          I don't understand how it can be a close game with 7 points separating the two teams. Gotta be within 4, no?
